Myanmar futsal player makes history

Myanmar national squad and MIC’s Khin Zaw Lin has made history by becoming the first ever futsal player in the country to join a foreign team.

He will soon be playing for a professional futsal club based in Thailand called Suratthani Chargers, which finished third in the league out of 14 teams last season, after signing a half-season contract.

The move marked a big milestone in the country’s futsal history as he became the first ever player to join a foreign club.

Speaking about his move to Thailand, Khin Zaw Lin said, “I’ll have to work hard to improve. I must try to be better than their local players. And they also have other foreign players. I have to perform at a level that’s on par with them.
