If you didn’t already know what freestyle football is, it is an activity that uses every single part of your body to perform tricks with just a football! Football freestylers are considered as dancers because they move expressively and graciously with nothing but a ball!

This sport has gained popularity over the past couple of years but is still not as famous as football. So, do you have any clue who the big stars of freestyle football are?

Here we share with you our top 5 famous freestyle footballers to look out for:

Séan Garnier

The French freestyler started off as a football player for Auxerre and Troyes. However, his injuries halted his professional career in football thus the start of his journey as a freestyle-footballer. He is currently endorsed by Redbull, Adidas and Urban Ball and is spending most of his time coaching at his own urban freestyle program. He has won the world freestyle championship twice and the French championship in 2009, 2010 and 2012.

F2 Freestylers

William Wingrove, who is a former Tottenham Hotspur FC player, and Jeremy Lynch started their journey as a duo at the 2010 FIFA Ballon d’Or Ceremony and have now become the world’s best freestyle duo – F2Freestylers. They currently have over 9 million subscribers on YouTube and they work with very prominent football stars such as Neymar, Lionel Messi and Mesut Ozil. On top of that, they also have their own clothing line – Rascal Clothing.


Twin brothers Josef and Jakob El-Zein a.k.a. SkillTwins shot to fame by uploading dribble and trick tutorials on YouTube. They started uploading videos after they both tore their ACLs when they were 15-years-old and have never looked back since. They have more than 2 million subscribers on YT and are highly regarded by football stars such as Neymar and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. On top of that, these 20 year-old Swedish boys have even released a mobile soccer game that instantly became one of the world’s most downloaded apps!

Soufiane Touzani 

The Dutch-Moroccan freestyle footballer rose to stardom after posting his first YouTube video that garnered 79,000 views after only 4 days! All thanks to that video, he was approached by a member of EA Games and was asked to perform his tricks for FIFA street. One of his best performances was with Ronaldo in San Siro stadium where Ronaldo himself named him the “pioneer of the modern freestyle football”. This is definitely a reminder for all the freestylers out there to never stop dreaming as you won’t know where you’re gonna be one day!

Lisa Zimouche

Born in 1999, Lisa Zimouche is currently one of the youngest football freestylers in the world. She competed in the Red Bull Street Style World Final at the age of 15 and was also crowned the World Panna Female Champion that very year! Who run the world? Yes, you heard us – girls!
