Wolves clinch dramatic win

Willy Boly scored a dramatic winner in the 92nd minute to help Wolverhampton Wanderers defeat Turkish side Besiktas 1-0 in the UEFA Europa League this morning.

It was Boly’s first goal of the season but the Frenchman showed great composure after he was picked out inside the box by teammate Ruben Neves, tucking away a neat finish into the bottom corner.

It was a thrilling end to what had largely been a dull affair, with the Premier League side not managing a single shot on goal until midway through the second half.

The result means Wolves are just one point behind joint leaders Slovan Bratislava and Braga, who drew 2-2 in the other game, in Group K and could very well secure progression.
