Tough draw for English sides

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side are set to face German giants Bayern Munich while Tottenham and Manchester United have drawn Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain, respectively, in the Last-16 of the UEFA Champions League.

Three out of the four English clubs in the competition will face Bundesliga opponents with Manchester City being drawn against Schalke.

Juventus will be facing Atletico Madrid, which gives Cristiano Ronaldo a chance to re-visit his old bitter rivals.

Dutch side Ajax have a daunting task as they face defending champions Real Madrid, while Barcelona take on Lyon and Roma go up against FC Porto.

The first legs of the last-16 ties will be split over two midweek dates, on February 12/13 and 19/20, with the second legs played over March 5/6 and 12/13 next year.
