Top 5 villains of football

Generally, footballers are loved by millions but some of them are hated by fans because of their bad reputation on and off-field. Check out 5 of the most hated football players on the planet!

1.Luis Suarez

He is famous for two of his biggest controversies: biting opponents and racist claims. During his time with Ajax, he bit PSV Eindhoven’s Otman Bakkal on the shoulder and was suspended for seven games. In 2013, he was suspended for 10 games for biting Chelsea’s Branislov Ivanovic on the arm. That’s not all, a year later, Suarez bit Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini. He was banned for nine games and sent home. Suarez was also found guilty of abusing Patrice Evra with racist comments and banned for eight games.

2.Mario Balotelli

You know football fans really hate Balotelli when they throw bananas at him with for owning a camouflaged Bentley.  He also set his own house on fire with fireworks and was found carrying £5000 (an equivalent of RM15,000) cash in his pocket and drove into an Italian women’s prison to have a look around. Attention seeker alert.

3.Patrice Evra

In 2012, Evra wiped his behind with a French football jersey because a few years earlier, he had an argument with one of the coaches and led a player protest against the coaching staff. That’s nothing compared to an incident that happened in 2017, where he kicked a fan in the head before a Europa League game!
