Thai cave boys get MUFC tour

The Thai football youth team, Wild Boars, received world wide attention last summer when they were stuck in an underground cave for more than two weeks. And over the weekend those resilient survivors got the chance of a lifetime after being invited to a private tour of Manchester United’s stadium, Old Trafford.

The boys were greeted by Man United boss Jose Mourinho and a host of other top stars before catching the team in action against Everton in the Premier League.

12 young players from the Wild Boars club, aged between 11 to 16 years old, and their coach were trapped in an underground cave for 17 days before being saved by a team of experts hailing from multiple countries.
