TFC are up for the challenge

The players of Terengganu FC (TFC) appear to be in high spirits ahead of their Malaysia Cup final with Perak this Saturday, 27th October.

TFC are set to make their 5th appearance in a Malaysia Cup final and having only lifted the trophy once previously, they seem to be determined to make the most out of this opportunity.

The club’s experienced goalkeeper, Mohd Suffian Abdul Rahman, said,”I never thought I would be given the chance to feature in a Malaysia Cup final after making an early retirement last season. So I will give it my all and make sure we bring home the trophy.”

Midfielder Mohd Faiz Mohd Nasir, also known as ‘Messi Ganu’, shared the 40-year-old goalkeeper’s sentiment by stating that,”This is my first final in this prestigious trophy, having previously only featured in the President Cup.

“If the coach gives the me the role of the playmaker once again, I will definitely be hoping to create history for myself and the team. But this is not an easy task, so we must work together as a team and do our very best.”

Terengganu (TFC) will face Perak in the final of the Malaysia Cup on 27th October 2018 at the Shah Alam Stadium.
