Solskjaer calls Liverpool “one dimensional”

Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was reportedly unimpressed with Liverpool’s style of play following their 0-0 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday.

United were able to hold off the Premier League leaders quite comfortably despite losing Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard to injuries in the first half, and Solskjaer is believed to have questioned Liverpool’s ability to push for the title this season.

A source close to United revealed that, “Ole was very blunt about Liverpool with his players and clearly believes they do not have enough to beat City to the title.

“He thinks they are very one dimensional, lacking creativity. He certainly has faith that his team are a better outfit.”

Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side are one point ahead of Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City with 11 matches remaining, as they seek a first league title since 1990.
