Sathia wants more time
Selangor Head Coach, B.Sathianathan is hoping that he will be given more time to guide the Red Giants squad following their most recent performance.
According to Sathia, the players are starting to understand his football philosophy and their strong showing in the 1-1 draw against Pahang at the Darul Makmur Stadium is a testament to that.
“I’m proud of my players performance in the game against Pahang and it seems that they are starting to gel as a team. It’s a very positive turnaround for us.
“What’s more impressive is that we were able to hold our own despite not having the services of import players, Taylor Regan and Sandro, as well as Khyril Muhymeen who is still lacking match fitness.
“I believe Selangor is still on the right track but we probably need around 10 matches or so to show what we are truly capable of,” he said.
