Sathia upset with Selangor fans

Head coach B Sathianathan is disappointed with some of the Selangor fans who abused him verbally following their 2-3 Malaysia Super League defeat to Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) in Larkin.

According to the 61-year-old, there were a number of Selangor supporters at the grandstand area who hurled vulgarities at him as he and his team were leaving the pitch yesterday.

“I’m disappointed that they (Selangor fans) used vulgarities. Something like this should never have happened and they were in the stadium with their family members. How can they use such language?

“Use your brains and don’t resort to using vulgarities just because you’re upset with me and the Selangor players. I don’t understand why they would utter such words and they were actually situated at the grandstand. Those sitting there are supposed to be more professional,” he said.
