Red Devils GUNNED down

Manchester United suffered their first ever Premier League defeat under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after going down 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this morning.

Goals from Granit Xhaka in the 12th minute and a 69th minute penalty by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang proved to be the difference between the two sides as Unai Emery’s Arsenal leapfrogged Manchester United into the top four of the league standings.

The visitors had their chances, but failed to make the most out of them with Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku and Fred both hitting the woodwork.

The victory at the Emirates sees the Gunners extend their unbeaten home league run to 15 matches and moves them into fourth spot, two points above United.
