PFA terminate Faris Ramli’s contract
The Perlis Football Association (PFA) have terminated the contract of Singapore player, Faris Ramli, in a bid to ease their financial burden.
Last week, PFA President, Datuk Ahmad Amizal Shaifit Ahmad Shafie revealed that the association have lost four major sponsors for the upcoming season due to the overdue salary issues that was widely publicised.
With a lack of funding, the move to terminate the contracts of a few big name players, especially imports, appears to be the only logical option for the club at this point.
PFA did however announce the signing of three import players, Valci Junior and Wellington Cirino Priori from Brazil, and Masaki Watanabe hailing from Japan, along with the termination of Faris Ramli’s contract.
