Nurridzuan apologises for lewd gesture

Selangor player, Nurridzuan Abu Hassan, has apologised to the Perak supporters for his obscene hand gesture during the Malaysia Super League tie at the Shah Alam Stadium last Friday.

Nurridzuan admits that the incident was a useful lesson for him while also promising that he will not repeat it ever again.

The former Perak player also said that he is willing to accept whatever punishment that the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) or Malaysian Football League (MFL) have in store for him.

“I started thinking about it as soon as I left the pitch. Firstly, I burdened my team by being sent off. Secondly, I also knew that I had wronged the Perak supporters.

“I shouldn’t have entertained the provocation by those supporters, instead I should have marched straight to the dressing room. As of now, management (Selangor FA) have not said anything to me.

“The supporters did not involve my family in the provocation and I should have just let it slide. I am truly sorry for what happened,” he said.
