MU in need of a new import player

Melaka United have yet to find a new import player to take up the vacant spot left by Darko Markovic ahead of their Malaysia Super League clash with FELDA United.

Head coach, Zainal Abidin Hassan, said they are looking for a suitable replacement for Markovic who left the club to join Kuala Lumpur in the current transfer window.

“As of now, there are no suitable imports to be registered. So in the upcoming match against The Fighters in Malacca, we will only be fielding four import players.

“Besides Luka Milunovic, we have Brazilian striker Anselmo Casagrande, Jang Suk-Won (South Korea) and Patrick Reichelt (Philippines). That being said, I’m confident they are still working hard to help the team do well, despite the shortage of an import player,” he said.
