Mourinho aims dig at players

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has hit out at a couple of his players following their 2-2 draw against Arsenal at Old Trafford this morning.

The 55-year-old Portuguese was particularly upset with the errors from goalkeeper David de Gea and defender Marcos Rojo which led to goals.

“We drew 2-2, but we scored four goals. As always we made mistakes and we paid for the mistakes. Even in matches like today where we played well we always shoot ourselves.

“Our problem is having performance like this without the mistakes we made… We are always punished,” he said.

Mourinho did however praise his team’s spirit and singled out Marcus Rashford’s contributions in the match.

“But we have to be happy with the spirit, the effort, dynamic, intensity. This is a performance of big soul and heart, Rashford, just to give a name, gave everything for the shirt. But even from our bench you could feel the little panic when the ball comes to our defensive third. I’m happy with the soul, bravery and commitment,” he added.
