MFL seek explanation from PFA
The Malaysian Football League (MFL) have given the Perlis Football Association (PFA) until 15 February to provide a detailed explanation regarding the association’s current financial status.
MFL Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Kevin Ramalingam, revealed they are actively investigating all clubs that are being plague by financial woes and will try to come up with a solution for the issue.
“We have informed PFA that we will be providing a detailed report to MFL’s Board of Directors on 15 February and they are well aware about the important documents we require.
“This issue does not only involve PFA as there are currently a number of other clubs that have failed to pay their staff and players on time.
“We are always in touch with the teams in the Malaysian League to keep abreast of the latest developments and to understand the issues that plagued teams that are under a new management,” he said.
