Malaysia U15 squad maintain fine form

The national Under 15 team continued their scintillating run in the AFF U15 Championship 2019 with a 3-0 win over Australia at the Chonburi Campus Stadium in Thailand on Thursday.

Defender Muhammad Daniel Edzuan Mohammed Anuar opened the scoring with a goal from the penalty spot in the 4th minute before Muhammad Nabil Qayyum Zainuddin doubled their lead in the 28th minute.

Muhammad Izrin Ibrahim’s goal in the 70th minute ensured that there would be no way back for the Aussies who were previously undefeated in the tournament.

Malaysia are top of Group B following three wins in three matches with a +2 goal difference over Thailand, who are second with the same number of points.

For the record, this Malaysia U15 squad got off to a flying start in the tournament with a 8-0 victory over Brunei and followed that with a comfortable 2-0 win over Cambodia in their second game.
