Lukaku scores on Inter debut

Romelu Lukaku scored on his Serie A debut for Inter Milan as they defeated 10-man Leece 4-0 at the San Siro Stadium.

The Belgian forward, having joined Inter for a club record fee of RM380.19 million from Manchester United this month, bagged their third goal in the 60th minute.

Goals from Marcelo Brozovic (21′), Stefano Sensi (24′) and Antonio Candrev (84′) ensured that Inter boss Antonio Conte got off to a flying start in the Serie A this season.

And following the convincing rout, Conte said: “I am very happy and satisfied. I like working with these guys who have always shown great willingness.

“Tonight, Lukaku showed why we tried so hard to sign him. Lukaku has come into the Inter world in the best possible way, with great humility. He is a gentle giant, a giant with a smile. He’s ready to work for the team.
