Lee Tuck eager to represent Malaysia
Terengganu FC midfielder Lee Tuck said he would be thrilled to put on the Harimau Malaya jersey if given the chance by the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).
The 30-year-old player hailing from England admits that he is more eager than ever to represent Malaysia after seeing Gambian born naturalised player Mohamadou Sumareh in action at the recent AFF Suzuki Cup and the amazing support he received from local fans.
“Yes, I’m very much interested and excited to represent Malaysia. It would be a huge honour for me to put on the Harimau Malaya jersey but it all depends on the FAM.
“I would definitely accept the offer (from FAM) like Sumareh. He performed well with the national team and it would be amazing if I could follow in his footsteps,” said Tuck, whose grandmother was born in Malaysia.
