Kedah set to hire Singaporean coach

The Kedah Football Association announced that former Home United FC coach, Aidil Sharin Sahak, will be in charge of the squad next season.

KFA President, Datuk Seri Mukhriz, also revealed that former Kedah player and President Cup coach, Victor Andrag, is set to be appointed as the assistant coach.

“We will sign contracts with both coaches in the near future. Right now we are sorting out a couple of formalities, they should be able to start soon,” he said during a press conference at Wisma Darul Aman.

The Kedah squad was previously managed by Ramon Marcote who was relieved of his duties early on last season. His successor, Mohd Nizam Adzha, also suffered the same fate after struggling to make an impact in the Malaysia Cup.
