JDT all set for ACL 2019

Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) are set to become to first team ever to represent Malaysia at the AFC Champions League next year.

JDT’s spot among 15 other elite clubs in Asia was booked following their success in the AFC Cup back in 2015.

And the team, winners of 5 Super League titles to date, are now all set to prove their mettle on one of Asia’s biggest footballing stage.

“Seven automatic slots will be occupied by clubs hailing from South Korea, Japan and China while four more clubs are set to earn their spots via the play-offs.

“JDT will send out our strongest side for this challenge,” said in a statement by the club.
