Higuain bags brace in Huddersfield rout

Chelsea bounced back from their thrashing at Bournemouth in style as they hammered Huddersfield 5-0 in the Barclays Premier League.

Making his home debut since joining on loan from Serie A giants Juventus, Gonzalo Higuain scored the opening goal in the 16th minute and added a second in the 69th minute.

The Argentinean linked up well with Eden Hazard, who bagged a brace (46′ & 66′) himself, while defender David Luiz completed the rout with a goal in the 86th minute.

And Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri was full of praise for Higuain, who came under a bit of scrutiny after his first match at the club.

“I am really happy because apart from the goals he is very suitable to play next to Eden. For us it is very useful.

“When he arrived he wasn’t at top physical condition, now he is improving and they are very suitable to play together, close to each other,” said Sarri.
