Hariss wants more aggression from JDT
Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) captain Hariss Harun believes that the best way to deal with Shandong Luneng FC in their upcoming AFC Champions League Group E clash in Larkin is by being more aggressive.
Hariss, who did not feature in JDT’s 3-1 Malaysia Super League victory over PKNS FC 3-1 on Saturday, appears to be in a buoyant mood ahead of the encounter with Lee Xiaopeng’s side.
“Personally I’m ready to face them. In fact, my teammates have been giving it their all during training sessions in preparation of this ACL match.
“Eventhough it’s a tough match for JDT, we are prepared to put in more than 100 percent against them. This is because a win will help us in our bid to progress to the next round.
“We need to be strong both physically and mentally because we know our opponents are going to take on a more physical approach to prevent us from causing an upset,” he said.
JDT are at the bottom of Group E having picked up only one point from three games.
