Guardiola “agrees” immediate Man City exit
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has agreed a deal to leave Manchester City in the coming weeks and take up the vacant managerial role at Juventus, reports claim.
The 48-year-old helped City secure a domestic treble and in doing so made them the first team in English football history to win the league title and both cup competitions in the same season.
And following his phenomenal season, Italian journalist Federico Gennarelli of Radio Sportiva reported that a deal has been struck for the Spaniard to join Juventus next month.
With Massimiliano Allegri, who left the Turin club last week, potentially making a move to the Premier League after leading Juventus to five titles in five years, Gennarelli claims Guardiola will give up his position at City despite having two years left to run on his contract.
“It was supposed to be the decisive day. It was: Pep #Guardiola will be the new coach of the #Juventus. 4-year contract. Deal done,” said Gennarelli on Twitter.
Guardiola reportedly met with the sporting director of the Serie A giants, Fabio Paratici, in Milan just a few days ago.
