FAM launches F:30

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) launched an initiative called F:30 in a bid to become one of the top 5 footballing nations in Asia before 2030.

FAM President, Datuk Hamidin Mohd Amin, said the F:30 will focus on comprehensive development at every level to make Malaysia a force to be reckoned with.

“If we want to achieve this goal, we need all parties to be involved. The primary objective of this plan is to strengthen unity in all aspects, from the grassroots level to the senior players,” he said at the official launch of the F:30 initiative.

The F:30 is a 12 year plan that’s divided into three different phases. The first phase, which will kick off in 2022, is designed to build a strong foundation by ensuring proper management, well rounded players and state of the art infrastructure.

Phase 2 (2023-2026) will focus on making Malaysia a top team in Asia while phase 3 (2027-2030) will aim to make the national squad world class.
