Dollah pleased with win

Pahang head coach Dollah Salleh revealed that he is delighted his side have returned to winning ways after failing to do so in their last three matches.

The 55-year-old said the 2-0 victory over PKNP FC in the Super League is a massive boost for the Pahang squad and it will motivate them to do better in their upcoming matches.

“I’m grateful that we were able to collect all three points after failing to do so in our last three matches.

“Overall, I’m satisfied with the performance of my players even though they failed extend the lead in the second half. We were in control of the match.

“We created a lot of chances but the PKNP goalkeeper (Khairul Thaqif Shah Kamal Bashah) did well to deny us a bigger win,” he said.

Pahang are currently second in the Super League standings, 10 points behind Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT).
