Cheng Hoe: 90 minutes left to play

Malaysia coach Tan Cheng Hoe said there’s still 90 minutes left to play following his side’s 2-2 draw with Vietnam at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium.

The Harimau Malaya found themselves two goals down within the first 25 minutes and were made to fight hard for a 2-2 draw.

And this leaves little room for error in their upcoming final second leg at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.

“Overall, we played quite well. We only conceded the goals because the players lost their concentration briefly. The same thing that happened in Hanoi during the group stages.

“But there’s still 90 minutes left to play in the second game and as the coach, I’m responsible to fix our flaws ahead of the game in Hanoi. I believe my players will surprise everyone in the second leg,” said Cheng Hoe.
