1.English Premier League

If you’ve no idea what this is then sorry, you’re nowhere close to being a football fan. The English Premier League (EPL) is the top level of the English football league system. It features world-class team such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, etc and also some of the best footballers that the world has ever seen such as Wayne Rooney, David Silva, Robin Van Persie and Sergio Aguero.

2.La Liga

If EPL is the top level of the English football league system, La Liga is a Spanish’s top football league system. Clubs like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona play for this league and for the past 10 years, best footballers in the world like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Rolando have competed against one another, however, now that Ronaldo has moved to Juventus, La Liga is a bit dull.

3. Bundesliga

Bundesliga is the top tier football league in Germany. It features notable teams such as Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen. The winner of the Bundesliga can compete at the DFL-Supercup.

4.Serie A

The Italian football league hosts three of the world’s most famous clubs; Juventus, Milan and Internazionale. Also, if you love red card drama, you might want to consider watching Serie A as it had the worst red card rate with 52 total ejections across 380 games in the 2013-14 campaign alone.

5.Major League Soccer

The major league soccer is United States’ main league and has been gaining popularity across the globe since it was first established in 1994. With an average attendance of more than 20,000 per game, MLS is the third-highest average attendance of any sports after the Major League Baseball and National Football League in the U.S. The league hosts 24 teams; 21 in the U.S and 3 in Canada.
