5 footballers who never skipped leg day
A good footballer would never skip leg day and here’s a list of footballers who never say no to leg workouts.
Sometimes it’s annoying how Ronaldo would go out of his way to show his leg muscles during a match but considering the amount of work he put into them, we guess he deserves a little appreciation.
The Real Madrid winger claimed that he trains his leg muscles mostly using the row machine. In an interview, he said, “I use it especially in the off-season to really get fit for the next year. It’s not easy. It’s kind of works every muscle that’s why I like it so much. It doesn’t just work out the upper or the lower body, it does both”.
Regarded as one of the best German players of his generation, Podolski currently plays as a forward for Japanese side Vissel Kobe. Podolski’s leg muscles are impressive! It’s pretty obvious he has been spending countless hours in the gym. His former Arsenal teammate, Wojciech Szczęsny said that “I remember and I’m not lying to you now, that in training when Poldi got the ball inside the box, 10-11 metres out, I didn’t want to save it. I just covered my head. I swear. I just protected the head.”
The former player of Botafogo, Milan and Real Madrid owns four Champions League medals. But we’re not here to talk about his achievements, we’re here to worship his muscular legs. Just look at them!
Currently playing as a forward for Shanghai SIPG, we’re not surprised that he can hit the ball insanely hard…judging from the size of his quads!
