1.Diego Maradona

He didn’t win much as a coach but he sure did have an incredible reputation as a footballer. He is considered as one of the most skillful footballers with amazing dribbling skills, ball control, passing and creativity.

2. Frank Lampard

Lampard is currently the head coach of Premier League side Chelsea, the club where he spent 13 years as a player. In an interview, he said, “I know this club and how it works – but I have to prove that”. Good Luck Lampard!

3. Steven Gerrard

Gerrard is a known former footballer who spent his career playing for Liverpool. After announcing his retirement in 2016, he was appointed as a youth coach at Liverpool. In 2018, he became the manager of Scottish Premiership club Rangers till date.

4.Paul Scholes

Scholes is a former Manchester United midfielder. He is now managing Oldham Athletic but he confessed that he misses his career as a footballer. In an interview, he said, “I miss the day to day involvement of just having a kick about or just playing and training with a team and I miss the Saturday afternoons.”

5.Zinedine Zidane

Nicknamed “Zizou”, Zidane began his coaching career at Real Madrid Castilla and won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup. He resigned in May 2018 and returned to the club in March 2019.
