1.Cristiano Ronaldo: The power seat

Regarded as one of the best footballers in the world, Ronaldo always makes sure he sits in the back row of the bus and if they travel by plane, he insists on sitting in the front row. Also, he has this habit of stepping onto the football pitch with his right foot first. All his tricks seem to be working because he has won five FIFA Ballon d’Or awards so far.

2.Johan Cruyff: The spitter

The Dutch footballer played for Ajax, Barcelona, Levante and many more. Considered as one of the most influential figures in football history, Cruyff once admitted to the media that the only way he can concentrate on a game is to walk across the pitch and spit his chewing gum out in the direction of the opponent’s goal.

3.Bastian Schweinsteiger: Soggy socks

Schweinsteiger won eight Bundesliga titles, a UEFA Champions League title, a FIFA Club World Cup title and a UEFA Super Cup title. His secret? He plays football with wet socks and boots!

4.Real Madrid: Magic garlic

The Spanish football club was the highest-earning football club in the world in 2018.  The team had achieved so much over the years but in 1912, the team had a dry spell and they didn’t win anything for five years! In 1917, the team then decided to plant a clove of garlic in the middle of the pitch. They won the Copa del Rey that season!

5.Romeo Anconetani: The Salt Bae

Anconetani was president of Italy’s AC Pisa club from 1978 to 1994. He reportedly once threw 26kgs of salt on to the pitch because he believed it brought them luck! #omg
